Background With the great advances in technology and increasingly user-friendly interfaces in the past few years, eye-tracking technology has provided multifaceted applications that contribute to the improvement of instructional design, proficiency assessment, and identification of learning styles. Eye-tracking technology has also provided new insights into chemistry teaching and learning.
