摘要
In this paper, an antenna array with dual-polarized, broadband and miniaturization is designed based on slot coupling feed structure. The electrical performance of the antenna is less affected by the installation platform, so the designed unit antenna can be used as an independent antenna in various platforms, especially those with strict requirements on cross-sectional size. In this paper, instead of the traditional rectangular slot structure, the slot whose long side changes exponentially is used to extend the current path at the edge of the slot to improve the antenna bandwidth. Two layers of metal radiation patches are added on the slot structure, and the cross slot is used to couple and excite it to generate multiple resonant modes, which further improves the antenna impedance bandwidth. When the slot-coupled dual-polarized antenna is embedded in a square metal cavity with a small cross section, induced current is generated on the upper edge and the outer surface of the side wall of the square metal cavity, and the antenna generates a resonant mode at a low frequency, so that the impedance bandwidth of the antenna is improved again, and the radiation energy of the antenna in the lateral direction is improved, the beamwidth is broadened. The metal cavity is used as the reflector of the antenna, and the side wall of the cavity is used as a part of the reflector, which greatly reduces the transverse size of the antenna. The bandwidth of the antenna element studied reaches 68.6%, and the bandwidth of the array antenna formed by broadband dual-polarized antenna can reach 53%(VSWR≤2.0) by using tight-coupled array technology.
