More than three-fourths of the electricity generation all over the globe is derived from fossil fuel consumption. Renewable energy resources such as solar power and thermal energy produced from the industry are not properly used due to practical constraints such as cost, application, and maintenance. One of such major resources is the abundant thermal energy dissipated from man-made activities in commercial and industrial buildings. In this chapter, the transmission of such abundant thermal energy into sustainable energy resources is explained practically. For this purpose, an innovative and cost-effective approach of using scrap waste materials for thermoelectric power generation from concrete panels is investigated. The results prove that the efficient thermal conductivity offered by the engine scrap waste materials enables the concrete specimen to generate 0.578 V with 0.13 A electric current, which is confirmed by reading in the multimeter arrangements and the glowing of connected light-emitting diode unit. Introducing this power concrete construction in real-time structures will provide a mass generation of power from the sustainable and cost-effective energy consumption approach without affecting the environment.
