Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation targeting the right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex for the treatment of erythematotelangiectatic rosacea

Flushing symptoms in rosacea are linked to sympathetic nervous activity and pose a significant treatment challenge in dermatology. In this case series, we investigated the use of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) targeting the right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) in 21 patients with erythematotelangiectatic rosacea. Our study suggests that rTMS targeting the right DLPFC is a well-tolerated, neuromodulatory option for erythematotelangiectatic rosacea.
