The article presents the research results of the biological features of three species of the Achillea L. genus – A. alpina L., A. filipendulina Lam., A. millefolium L., which were carried out during two growing seasons (2023–2024). Morphometric parameters, features of entry into various phases of growth and development and resistance to specific conditions were studied at the research site of aromatic herbs (Fragrant Garden). It has been established that all three species of Achillea have a long vegetation period, the flowering of plants occurs in mid-summer and lasts about 1.5 months. Morphometric parameters of Achillea in the years of research were different, which is associated with climatic conditions during the vegetation period. The highest parameters of the vegetative and generative spheres were noted in 2023, the lowest - in 2024 (cooler and rainier summer from June to August). The highest parameter values ??were in A. filipendulina. Most morphometric parameters showed a normal degree of variation (Cv - 5.1-22.0%). Small variation (Cv - 2.2-4.4%) was noted in such traits as plant height, leaf length, number of baskets, shield diameter, number of leaves. According to the assessment of the success of the introduction, Achillea are highly resistant to the local climate. They can be recommended for use in any type of floral and decorative design, since a very relevant trend in phytodesign is the creation of aromatic gardens and pharmaceutical garden using aromatic and medicinal plants.
