Highly efficient tunable multi-wavelength laser of Er3+, Yb3+, Pr3+ triple-doped BaLaGa3O7 crystal at ~2.7 µm

Co-doping with sensitizer Yb 3+ and deactivator Pr 3+ can effectively improve laser efficiency in the Er/Yb/Pr:BLGO crystal; the maximum output power of 0.81 W was obtained at ∼2.7 μm.
