摘要
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) represent a persistent environmental challenge necessitating innovative remediation approaches. Magnetic Nanoparticles (MNPs), particularly iron oxide-based materials like magnetite Fe3O4 offer unique advantages due to their high surface area and magnetic separability. This paper presents the successful completion of our research: the development and characterization of a highly reproducible, low-cost adsorbent platform. We detail the integrated co-precipitation and impregnation protocol used to synthesize Biochar-Modified Magnetic Nanoparticles (BC-MNP) and baseline Air-Dry MNPs (AD-MNP). Comprehensive characterization via FTIR, SEM, and EDS confirms the crystalline Fe3O4 structure and the creation of a highly porous composite material, distinguishing it from pure MNPs.
