摘要
Employees’ commitment is very important for attaining the organizational goal. While studies ofcommitment has been the subject of much theoretical and empirical effort in the field oforganizational behavior, human resource management and industrial or organizational psychology, itis imperative to examine how commitment of the employees will influence their intention to adhereto a surveillance system. In this study, we examine the three types of commitment; affective,normative and continuance on intention to comply, alter or avoid electronic monitoring system as asurveillance method. Using a correlational study, a survey was conducted among 185 employees inselected organizations. Data was analysed for descriptive and inferential statistics. The findingssuggest relationships exist among the variables. Discussion of the results and contribution areprovided.
