Research and Progress of Polymer Adsorption Materials Applied in Hemoperfusion

The basic principle of blood purification technique is described,several kinds of means of blood purification are summarized,and hemoperfusion technique is mainly introduced.The research advance of the polymer adsorption materials applied in hemoperfusion technique is summed up,and the character and development trend of several kinds of polymer adsorption materials are analyzed and evaluated.Combined with author′s investigation that excess bilirubin in blood of liver patient is eliminated by using polyethyleneimine resin charged positively,it is shown that hemoperfusion is a potential and promising technique of blood purification,and it is the key for the development of hemoperfusion technique to prepare polymer adsorption resins with excellent blood compatibility and high adsorption capacity.
