Based on analysis for the characteristics of fiber Bragg grating Fabry-Perot(F-P)cavity,a mathematic model is presented for fiber Bragg grat- ing F-P filter.Theoretical analysis is made using method of transfer matrix for fiber Bragg grating F-P cavity.The spectrums of fiber Bragg grating F-P filter are simulated and analyzed in detail by Matlab software,and the effect and their relationship between the transmission feature of the fiber Bragg grating F-P filter and its relating parameters are elucidated out.According to condition of phase resonance of fiber grating F-P cavity,the relationship between fiber Bragg grating period and cavity length for fiber grating F-P cavity has been deduced,which provide a basis for the manufacture of the F-P filter based on fiber Bragg grating.
