Converter Instantaneous Power Balance Theory Applied to Low Voltage Ride Through of Direct-driven Permanent Magnet Wind Turbine

In order to study low voltage ride through(LVRT)of Direct-driven wind turbine with Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator(D-PMSG),the paper establishes a mathematical model.Simulation model is built using PSCAD/EMTDC.The simulation of D-PMSG is made when the power grid voltage drop fault occurs.Using voltage drop equipment test on a D-PMSG in northeast China,comparing the measured data and simulation data,it verifies the correctness of proposed D-PMSG control strategy and simulation results.
