Study on the Overseas Network Embeddedness,Cooperative Capabilities,Knowledge Acquisition,and Innovation Performance

This paper aims to explore the path of ECEs innovation capabilities catch- up strategies. Employing a sample of216 firms in China,this paper presents evidence indicating that overseas network embeddedness including structural embeddedness and relationship embeddedness plays an important role in explaining overseas knowledge acquisition,and cooperative capabilities plays a mediating role in the relationships between overseas network embeddedness( structural embeddedness,and relationship embeddedness) and knowledge acquisition. Then this paper builds two paths of ECEs innovation capabilities catch- up strategies. Further,from a practical point of view,our results contribute to ECEs innovation capabilities catch- up strategies.
