Li4Ti5O12 was obtained by solid-state reaction and characterized by XRD.The system of LiCoO2-Li4Ti5O12 was characterized by cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and constant current charge-discharge.The results showed that the initial discharge capacity was 122.2 mAh·g-1 when current density was 0.1 mA·cm-2 and remained 112.9 mAh·g-1 after 100 cyclies. When current density was 0.2 mA·cm-2,the capacity declined only by 5.3%after 50 cycles. All showed that the electrochemical performance of the cell was stable and was a kind of hopeful lithium ion battery system.
