Study on Microstructure and Properties of Low-Ni Austenitic Cast Iron Used in Impeller

The microstructure,wear resistance and corrosion resistance of low-Ni austenitic cast iron were investigated.The results show that the microstructure of low-Ni cast iron is mainly composed of austenitic matrix,graphite and a small amout of carbides.The hardness and tensile strength of low-Ni cast iron are higher than those of high nickel cast iron.At the same time,the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the cast iron is similar or closed to high-Ni austenitic cast iron.
