Research on the extraction of flavone from Hypericum perforatum L.by cloud point extraction

Objective To establish a extraction process of flavone from Hypericum perforatum L.by cloud point extraction(CPE).Methods Cloud point extraction was adopted to the extraction of flavone,and UV was used for detection.By an orthogonal experiment,the effect of surfactant concentration,solid-liquid ratio,ionic strength and balance time on the extraction efficiency was studied.Result When extraction was processed under the conditions of 50.0 g·L-1 surfactant concentration,100∶1 solid:liquid ratio,3.0 mol·L-1 salt concentration for 40 min under 65℃,the extraction ratio was the highest.The method is superior to the traditional method.Conclusion CPE is a green,steady,reasonable and feasible extraction method.
