Research Progress on Coated Slow/Controlled Release Fertilizer

As the substitute of traditional fertilizer,coated slow/controlled release fertilizer has lots of advantage and can improve fertilizer utilization efficiently.Thus,developing coated slow/controlled release fertilizer with low cost,easy manufactory,single-dose application and friendly environment,especially coated fertilizer is the main direction in the future.In this paper,the slow/controlled release fertilizer kind is described,the present research situation and nutrient release mechanism for the outside coated slow/controlled release fertilizer at home and abroad is discussed;application situation and the direction of development for the coated slow/controlled release fertilizer at home and abroad is analyzed.
