The Problem of the Definition of "Construction" in Construction Grammar

The Construction Grammar has defined construction as any pairs of form and meaning.This definition is not consistent with the notion of the same term in both cognitive grammar and other linguistic schools.The present analysis demonstrates that the definition is theoretically and practically meaningless,and thus has no positive effects on grammatical research.
