A Study on Five-Phase Permanent Magnet Vernier Motor Superimposed Harmonic Current

In this paper, a novel five-phase Permanent Magnet Vernier Motor (PMVM) that can realize the high torque and expand the drive region by superimposing a harmonic current is proposed. The performances of output torque and efficiency of the proposed motor are evaluated.
