摘要
The transparent displays can provide unprecedented see‐through visual experiences, facilitating the implementation of augmented reality and human–machine interaction in the metaverse era. In recent years, self‐emissive technology has been increasingly applied in the development of transparent displays. This review introduces the latest advancements in self‐emissive transparent display technologies that employ small‐pitch light‐emitting diodes (LEDs), organic LEDs, mini‐LEDs, micro‐LEDs, and quantum dots. Additionally, it highlights the basic principles, key devices, and future pathways for achieving high‐performance transparent displays.
