Machine Learning Algorithms for Initial Diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson's disease (PD) is a variety of physical and mental signs associated with Parkinson's disease (PD), a cognitive condition, are caused by the gradual death of dopaminergic cells in the substantia nigra. The etiology of PD is multifactorial, involving a complex interplay of genetic, environmental, and age-related aspects. The bradykinesia, stiffness, tremor, and instability of posture are the four main motor symptoms of disease, while non-motor symptoms encompass cognitive impairments, mood disorders, sleep disturbances, and autonomic dysfunction. Diagnosis relies on clinical assessment and may be aided by neuroimaging techniques. Current treatment options primarily focus on alleviating symptoms through pharmacotherapy, deep brain stimulation, and rehabilitative therapies. However, no cure for PD exists, highlighting the need for continued research to unravel the disease's underlying mechanisms and develop effective diseasemodifying interventions.
