摘要
The intestinal microbiota plays a pivotal role in TB through the gut-lung axis, a bidirectional relationship connecting the two organs. Among the bacterial genera affected by TB-related dysbiosis, Collinsella- a member of the Actinobacteria phylum- has emerged as a genus of interest. Understanding Collinsella’s function could foster new developments for ancillary therapies focused on renewing microbial equilibrium and improving clinical outcomes in TB patients. Further analysis on Collinsella’s role in TB shall examine its potential as a focus for adjunctive treatments.
