摘要
Jakarta flooding regularly endangers infrastructure, communities, and the public. The motivation behind this research is to create a spatial flood map that supports flood mitigation by locating flood-risk areas and how these intersect with populated areas and major waterways, such as rivers, canals, reservoirs, and water gates. Using flood information from Jakarta Satu and Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS) as a processing tool, we performed spatial standardization, visualization, and overlay analysis. The maps determine areas at risk by combining records of historical flooding, hydrological features, and population density. The findings are designed to provide a data-driven basis for identifying high-risk areas and offer insights to support knowledge-based flood mitigation and urban disaster management in Jakarta. Results indicate that 30.65% of subdistricts were unaffected by floods, whereas 8.05% fall into the high to very high vulnerability categories. Only 0.77% of subdistricts show extremely high vulnerability. We found that Rawa Buaya and Kapuk, subdistricts in West Jakarta, have the highest vulnerability. Another finding indicated that the overflow of Ciliwung River, a river that spans from the north to south of Jakarta, was shown to increase the level of flooding in the areas it crosses.
