Comparison of conventional ultrasound combined with contrast-enhanced ultrasound and conventional ultrasound in differential diagnosis of breast lesions
Objective To investigate the value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS) in differential diagnosis of breast benign or malignant disease. Methods A total of 197 cases with 198 lesions were analyzed. All the patients were examined by conventional ultrasound and conventional ultrasound combined with CEUS.Results The pathological results showed that there were 101 cases with benign lesions and 97 cases with malignant lesions.CEUS seemed to be better in the differential diagnosis of benign or malignant lesions than conventional ultrasound, with the sensitivity of 84.5%,the specificity of 90.0%,and the accuracy of 87.4%,but there was no significant difference between them. Conclusion The accuracy rate of differential diagnosis of breast lesions can’t be improved by the use of CEUS.
