FORMAL SOLUTIONS OF TOTALLY CHARACTERISTIC TYPE PDE WITH IRREGULAR SINGULARITY(I)

In this paper,we discuss the formal solutions of a totally characteristic type PDE of two variables with irregular singularity.By comparing the coefficients of power series,we find the suitable indexes of the Gevrey class to the formal solution and prove its existence and uniqueness.
