The Difficulties and Solutions of Superabsorbent Resin and Ddevelopment Trends

Superabsorbent was a novel series of functional macromolecule materials,which had low degree of crosslinking and fine hydrophilicity.Being compared with traditional absorbent material,superabsorbent had higher water absorbency,faster water absorption and better water retention,and was applied in many areas in life.But nowadays the development of superabsorbent was inhibited.The reasons such as the separation of products development from the study on basic theories,from the optimization of production process,from the method of application are discussed,proposals to solve the problems were proposed and the developing trends of superabsorbent were prospected.
