The Technological Progress and Market Analysis of Adipic Acid

The global production capacity of adipic acid was 3.04 million tons per year in 2005 mainly used for nylon 66. The domestic production capacity of adipic acid was 250,000 tons per year, and the consumption was about 310,000 tons in 2005.The article describes the progress of synthesis technique,production situations, current consumption and development forecasts. The technological progress of green synthesis of adipic acid was introduced emphatically. The market and development trend of adipic acid was analysed. And some suggestions for developing the production of adipic acid in China were put forward.
