Study on the antidepressant effect of Yukexin capsules in mice

OBJECTIVE To investigate the antidepressant effect of Yukexin capsules in mice.METHODS The antidepressant effect of Yukexin capsules in mice were evaluated using several modules of depression,including the tail suspension test(TST),forced swimming test(FST)and reserpine-induced ptosis.RESULTS Yukexin capsules shortened immobility time in FST and TST,and ameliorated reserpine-induced ptosis.CONCLUSION Yukexin capsules could obviously improve the symptoms of the depressive model.
