Mentalization as Mediator between Adult Attachment and Interpersonal Distress

We conclude that both mentalization and symptom distress are key components in the association of adult attachment and interpersonal problems. Therefore, we recommend research on integrative psychotherapy concepts rather than unilateral approaches.
