Type Selection of Shield Machines for Wuhan Yangtze River Crossing Tunnel Project

Based on the research on the relevant documents and theoretical analysis on the geological conditions,surrounding environment,tunnel diameter and length of Wuhan Yangtze River Crossing Tunnel Project,this paper analyzes the applicability of different types of shield machines to different stratum properties,stratum permeabilities and underground water synthetically and puts forward the suitable shield machine types.This paper will have active reference significance to future similar projects.
