摘要
Some general parameters of electron gun for microwave tube were discussed. The analysis showed that the main trouble of employing a field emission arrays(FEA) electron gun in microwave tube could be attributed to the defocus of electron beam. Several ways of proper focusing of an electron beam were investigated,and by using a traditional method,a model of FEA electron gun including a FEA cathode, a Whelnelt electrode,a focus electrode and an anode was designed. Benificial improvements of electron gun were made after the simulation of electron beam trajectory.
