Progress in Cell & Molecular Mechanism of Breviscapine Applied in Cardio-and Cerebro-vascular Diseases

Breviscapine,isolated from Erigeron breviscapus(Van)t Hand-mazz,is widely used to treat ischemi cardio-and cerebro-vascular diseases clinically.According to its pharmacological actions in relaxing vessel,regulating ion channel,preventing free radical,inhibiting protein kinase C and protecting nerve cell,the cell molecular mechanism of breviscapine were summarized in the present review.
