Study on Anti-cerebral Ischemia Effect of Naoxinshu Capsules

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the anti-cerebral ischemia effect of Naoxinshu capsules. METHODS: Rat cerebral ischemia model was induced by four vessel occlusion and mice decapitation complete cerebral ischemia model was induced. Effects of Naoxinshu capsules on the activity of ATP and SOD were determined, and rat cerebral index, cerebral water content and gasping time of mice were detected. RESULTS: Naoxinshu capsule can improve the activity of ATP and SOD in rats. Cerebral index and cerebral water content in cerebral ischemia model rat were improved significantly. The gasping time in decapitation complete cerebral ischemia model mice was prolonged significantly. CONCLUSION: Naoxinshu capsules have effect on cerebral ischemia.
