Apoptosis is an independent and ordered death death cells controlled by genes.The death of cardiac myocytes caused by myocardial ischemia-reperfusion is mainly induced by apoptosis.Cytochrome C and caspases family are the key substances in start ing the apoptosis process and play a crucial role in the cardiac myocytes apoptosis.Suppress the cytochrome C and activation of caspases family can effectively reduce the cardiac myocytes apoptosis induced by ischemia-reperfusion.
