[Effect of amniotic membrane on expressions of TGF-beta 1, collagens I, III and fibronectin in rabbit corneal healing after photorefractive keratectomy].

The expressions of TGF-beta 1, collagens III and FN can be suppressed by amniotic membrane after PRK. These data suggest that part of the anti-scarring effect of AMT may be mediated through the suppression of TGF-beta 1, collagens III and FN expression.
