Study on Impact Strength of Laminated Glass Made by Heat Press Method in Laboratory

Various types of laminated glass samples were made by a heat press equipment which was set up in the laboratory. Through measuring impact strength of the samples, the effects of glass thick-ness, polyvinyl butyral (PVB) film thickness and their various combinations on laminated glass strength were studied. The test results provide basis for making industrial samples and designing new products.
