摘要
Clean environment is the basic need for all the living things. Due to increase in population and industrialization, the environmental pollution has been increasing because most of the industries causing pollution attributed to discarding their waste in the environment i.e., in water. By this act of these industries the aquatic as well the human life possesses serious threat. It is necessary to remove these life-threatening chemicals from the environment. In the present study, we fabricated CoNi2O4, ZnSe and their composite (CoNi2O4/ZnSe) via facile hydrothermal route and are characterized by various spectroscopy and microscopy analysis to confirm the structure, morphology, surface area along with optical properties of fabricated substance. These materials are then applied for removal of methylene blue under the exposure of visible light. Our finding shows that the CoNi2O4/ZnSe show better efficiency and it can also be applied for other energy related applications.
