Abstract By analyzing the product structure of the extrusion valve and the process problems existing in injection molding, selecting the molding process parameters of polystyrene, the injection mold structure of this kind of plastic parts is determined to be one mold and four cavities. According to the average shrinkage rate of polystyrene, the mold size was calculated, and the conical fine striping mechanism and the arc side core-pulling mechanism were designed in the mold. The design and machining process of mold forming parts, the design process of pouring system and other structures are described in detail, and the working process of mold is introduced. The mold has a successful trial, flexible and reliable operation, the precision of the plastic parts has reached the design requirements, and the appearance is smooth and clean.
