摘要
In this paper, a general purpose machine vision prototyper is described for attacking the planar web inspection problem. The objective of the machine vision prototype is to aid in the development of machine vision systems. It is basically a set of reusable and extensible hardware and software units that can be combined in a sufficient variety of ways to allow one to consider different solutions to an inspection problem. It will also allow rapid configuration of a machine vision system for new inspection problems. The procedure for utilizing the machine vision prototype to is based on the concepts of rapid-prototyping.
