Manufacturing of Unusual Optical Filter Possessing Stepwise Spectral Transmittance

We have manufactured an optical filter possessing stepwise spectral transmittance by magnetron sputtering method. There is good agreement between designed and measured transmittance. We expect the actual thickness is close to the design thickness.
