Aero-engine Hot End Surface Temperature Field Measurement

It is instructive to measure and monitor the temperature field of the hot end surface of the aero-engine for prolonging its life.The article describes several temperature measurement methods,such as thermocouple,pyrometer,infrared thermal imager and temperature indicating paints,etc.The two temperature measurement techniques,multi-wavelength pyrometer and vision pyrometer are discussed in detail,by which the influence of emissivity of measured surface on the temperature measurement can be reduced greatly.The methods are appropriate to measure the surface temperature between 1000℃ to 3000 ℃.
