Objective: To establish a cell model for the expression of human Kv1.3.Methods: pcDNAHKv1.3 was transfected into human embryonic kidney cells(HEK293) with lipofectamine2000.The expression of human Kv1.3 gene was detected by fluorescence microscope and whole cell patch clamp.Results: The expression of human Kv1.3 gene was observed by fluorescence microscope 2 days after the transfection and the encoded currents were recorded by whole cell patch clamp 3 days after the transfection.Conclusion: It provides a good eukaryocytic expression system and cell model for the study of human Kv1.3 to transfect pcDNAHKv1.3 into HEK293 cells,which helps to develop new drugs for the treatment of autoimmune diseases.
