Mechanism Study on Slope Protection Through Ecological Vegetation

The slope protection through ecological vegetation is a technology,whose mechanism of consolidation is not well known. The mechanic model of vegetation root system with soil is founded from the micro aspect and its mechanic mechanism related with consolidation is analyzed on the condition that the strength of root system of vegetation and the regularities of distribution in soil are known. The analysis shows that the consolidation effect of root system of herb in slope is simplified as the three-dimensional reinforcement. The consolidation effect of vertical root system of woody plant in slope is simplified the bonding anchor model to simulate its friction reinforcement,in which the tap root of vertical root system is the axial and the lateral root of it is the branch,the friction between the lateral root system of woody plant and the soil is used to balance the residual downslide thrust of surface soil of slope.
