Ultrasonography of fetal anomaly with multiparous pregnancy

Objective To improve the diagnostic accuracy level of ultrasound in diagnosis of fetal anomaly of multiparous pregnancy. Method Retrospective analysis was performed on 45 cases of fetal anomalies with multiparous pregnancy diagnosed by ultrasonography in our hospital from January 2000 to June 2006. Results Most fetal anomalies of multiparous pregnancy detected by ultrasonography in the second trimester gestation. There were similar fetal anomalies between monoparous and multiparous pregnancy,and also some special anomalies in multiparous pregnancy. Conclusion Ultrasonography is the main method for diagnosing fetal anomaly of multiparous pregnancy.
