Water-repellent and oil-repellent finish of flax fabric

Water-repellent and oil-repellent agent FK-510 were used to finishing pure flax fabric.The optimal finishing process for linen cloth were FK-510 dosage 60 g/L,MgCl2 dosage 6 g/L,pre-drying temperature and time 90 ℃×5 min,cure temperature and time,160 ℃×1 min.The finished flax fabric showed superior water-repellent and oil-repellent properties with unobvious change of the air permeability.The strength of the finished fabric was educed.
