Curative effect analysis of budesonide inhalation associated with tiotropium bromide inhalation on acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)

Objective To observe the efficacy of budesonide inhalation associated with tiotropium bromide inhalation on AECOPD.Methods A total of 65 patients were randomly enrolled into 2 groups: treatment group(n = 35) and control group(n = 30).The control group was treated by routine treatment only,the treatment group on the basis of conventional therapy plus budesonide suspension(1 mg) twice daily and tiotropium bromide inhalation(18 μg) once daily.The total treatment duration was 10 days.Results There were significant differences in pH,PaO2,PaCO2and changes in dyspnea grade between the two groups after treatments(P 0.05).Conclusion The efficacy of budesonide inhalation associated with tiotropium bromide inhalation on AECOPD is efficacious.
