Mandal, “Silver Nanoparticle‐Embedded Zirconium‐Based Metal‐Organic Framework for Photoreduction of Carbon Dioxide to Acetic Acid in Aqueous Medium,” Advanced Functional Materials (Early View) https://doi.org/10.1002/adfm.202416677 . The above article, published online on 12 November 2024 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), has been retracted by agreement between the authors; the journal Editor‐in‐Chief, Joern Ritterbusch; and Wiley‐VCH GmbH. Following concerns raised by third parties, the article was re‐evaluated by the editors, subject matter experts, and Wiley's integrity team. Several images and spectra, including Figures S3–S5, S8, S10, S11, and elements of S12 (Supporting Information), were reproduced from previous publications by the corresponding author without proper attribution. Additionally, some of the duplicated images were used to depict different materials across the articles. Finally, several scientific flaws and inconsistencies were noted within the figures of this article. The corresponding author admitted to inadvertently making these errors and has taken full responsibility, emphasizing that no other collaborators were responsible. Due to the extent and nature of the duplications and inconsistencies, the editors consider the results and conclusions of this article to be invalid. R.K.A., S.M., and S.M. performed the synthesis, characterizations of all the MOF samples, photocatalytic experiments, and data analysis. N.P.M. and M.M.S. have done the gaseous product analysis. M.E. and H.J. have performed the X‐ray PDF experiment at the synchrotron. I.M. and K.B. performed X‐ray PDF data reduction and analysis. A.A. and K. N.V.D. Adarsh performed the ultrafast transient absorption measurements and analysis. S.S.R. has helped with the modeling of the transient absorption data. R.K.A., S.M., and S.M. have written and finalized the manuscript.
