Acupuncture and related interventions for the symptoms of chronic kidney disease

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To evaluate the benefits and harms of acupuncture, electroacupuncture, acupressure, moxibustion and other acupuncture‐related interventions (alone or in combination with other acupuncture‐related interventions) for the symptoms of CKD. In particular we will plan to compare acupuncture and related interventions to conventional medicine; active, non‐pharmacological interventions; and routine/usual care for the symptoms of CKD.
