Effects of Chinese Medicinal Herb Feed Additives "Zengzhongling" on Growth Performance and Internal Secretion in Growing Pigs

To investigate the effect of Chinese medicinal herb feed additives Zengzhongling on gowth performance and the content of GH,T_(3),T_(4)in the serum of growing pigs,30 growing pigs(20 kg initially) were divided into control group(no additive),treatment group Ⅰ(1% Chinese medicinal herb feed additives) and treatment group Ⅱ(2% Chinese medicinal herb feed additives).The results showed that comparing to control group,the treatment group Ⅰand group Ⅱwere increased 20.1%(P0.05)and 27.6%(P(0.01))of the weight gain per pig perday,19.9%(P0.05)and 23.8%(P0.05)of the food efficiency,(3.7%)(P0.05)and 23%(P0.05)of the content of GH,28.5%(P0.05)and 36.1%(P0.01) of the content of T_(3),19.3% and 32.8% of the content of T_(4),respectively.The results indicated that the effect of theZengzhonglingon improving growing performance perhaps though the system of internal secretion.
