Effect of water-saving irrigation on eco-environment of paddy field

A discussion was made on the variation regularities of some ecological and environmental factors of paddy field under water-saving irrigation condition,mainly including the temperature of paddy field,ventilation of soil,weed growing and insect pests,emission of greenhouse gases,and balance of mineral nutrition.The gases CH_4 and N_2O released from paddy field under water-saving irrigation condition and their comprehensive effect were particularly analyzed.It is suggested that the strategies for controlling of weed growing and insect pests,greenhouse gas emission from paddy field,and effect of water-fertilizer coupling under water-saving irrigation condition should be emphasized in further study.
