Study on Different Types of Sizing Agents for Carbon Fiber

The different types of sizing agents on the impact of carbon fiber composite materials were studied in this paper.The stability of emulsion,mechanical properties of composite materials,surface morphology and fracture surface were discussed.The results shows that polyvinyl alcohol emulsion sizing agent has an excellent stability, the carbon fiber composite has a good mechanical performance,and strong interfacial bonding.
